My carbon footprint just got a whole lot bigger.

We are looking at new trucks for my wife and with the Tundra we couldn’t get over the horrible dash design. I think it was made for toddlers or something. How many MPG does it get? hahaha

exactly my thought … I would love this for boat towing duty. I would hate it for getting into parking spaces in the garage at work lol.

I just picked up a V8 touareg, and I’m also feeling my carbon footprint growing, lol.

Looks solid man, nice purchase!

WTF?

Beck, nice looking truck man. Congrats on the pickup… truck :). My father has had 4 Tacoma’s to date and they have all been exceptional. I must say though, they all had the cheapest, most terribly laid out interiors… so that’s nothing new!

Seems to me that’s with most trucks.

They’re bead lockers, not beat knockers.

The nav is too far away, agreed.

Thanks for the kind words kids.

Now it’s time to buy something to tow. I’m thinking a 4 sled trailer for snowmobiles.

I’m going to start becoming a man soon, so with all the fishing, hunting and outdoorsy stuff I want to do…this should fit the bill. Plus I don’t have to rely on my father anymore to help me move stuff/pick stuff up or do landscaping.

How big of a fuel cell can you fit in the back?

when i was looking at fullsizes i was checking out tundras, however i didnt like the dash layout and i heard a couple people complain about the transmission running too hot when towing. ended up getting my ram and am very happy with my choice. funny where i ended up considering i originally wanted a tacoma but couldnt do it when i could get into a fullsize for the same kind of money.

the off road packages really set these trucks off

Hahaha… I do my manly stuff with the wife’s car so I can drive something fun the rest of the time. That or I hook the trailer up to the GTO and make the task so manly you can smell the testosterone.

Trailer + GTO = Ultimate manliness. We could do it right and we could tow the gto on a flatbed with my truck, and from the flat bed trailer, tow your trailer.

That would be doubly cute since they’re both red.

I can’t help but to laugh at “I’m going to start becoming a man soon”

Every year I don’t hit puberty, my father’s story changes.

4 years ago:

“Dad, I can’t grow a beard”

“It’s fine, I was 22 when I was finally able to grow one”

3 years ago:

“Dad, I still can’t grow a beard”

“It’s fine, relax…I was 23 when I finally was able to…”

… it’s been like this for 4 years now. It’s coming. I can feel it.

Nice truck. Hope it drives as nice as the last one, I love how comfortable and nice it was.

Off topic I wish I didn’t have so much fucking hair. Purebred meatball problems.

Haha, thanks. It drives about 1/10th as nice. But the exhaust growl and road noise really makes you feel like everyday is man-day.

I just want to park this on the lawn at jamboree in the hills and play flip cup on the tailgate.

Daayyyyyuummmm… nice pick-up (with both uses of the meaning).

I know who to go to for tows now

anytime baby

Kind of what I was thinking…

More American made than any other platform. <3

I can’t wait to get a trailer to tow cars with my Touareg. Big E and I are currently looking for an open aluminum trailer to tow our rally neon, and my 911 turbo. Not having to borrow anyone else’s big cars will be a plus, too. I don’t even mind the 13mpg I get in the city.

And for the record, I’m 25 and can only grow a half beard. My dad gave me the same speel.

 and I am sure the snowmobile trailer can hold a couple as well!

Nice Pickup
