I cooked up an unbelieveable Prime Cut steak… 13.99 a lb YUM. Nice and rare…

The key is using an extremely hot oven (500*+) and knowing what your doing.

Oh, i do too for “lesser” cuts, haha. This one just needed to be pampered. Doing it with the hot oven basically seals in all of the juices and just makes it that much more tender…

lol looks good either way. All high end restaurants cook theyre steaks like that, high heat to sear, then on the grill for the sear marks, best way imo to cook a good piece of meat.

Word, but the sear usually comes from a hot cast iron or steel pan. Then the oven comes into play. A good piece of meat takes time fo shizzle.
