So, last Sunday I decided to take a little road trip to visit my sister whom I haven’t seen in 3 years. Destination: Texas City, TX. Miles: 1600
Because of Gustav hitting about the same time I was going, my route there was, PA, OH, TN, KY, AR, TX…on the way back, (left Friday morning) The decision was made to go through LA and MS. In LA, there was a ton of trees down, and just about every road sign was snapped in half. Thank god for GPS. All In all, the trip was great, but next time, I will fly lol.

Thanks. Definitely a great time. Looks like I got out of there just in time as hurricane Ike is heading straight for Galveston.

yep…not sure why i took that pic…but i like it for some reason…
There was a trash can every 8 feet…it was a rediculous amount.

it was nice. The sad thing is, out of ALL the places i went…my favorite was the gas station. $3.26 gal. Sadly, the instant you leave NY, gas drops $0.30
