I pick it up this afternoon…traded in my Escape…
265hp 3.5…basically everything but leather and navi.
i know i know…its auto…but it is my DD…though the 6sp would have been fun…just HARD to find.
This car was alot nicer than i expected plus it definately gets out of its own way…aaaaaand it is the first “import” i’ve ever owned…i cant wait!
are you bored of the auto yet? i am. and i’ve never even seen it.
sometimes one doesnt want to shift, they just want to ride in comfort, being my DD, thats what i wanted. if i want a manual, I drive the mustang. Besides…i dont pick the new one up until this afternoon.
MAXIMAS FTW…should have waited to find a 6spd…i cant wait til i drop one of those motors in my car

I can understand the auto for a DD. There’s nothing more unpleasent than getting stuck in traffic with a manual. Although your left calf muscle will get big and strong overtime, you end up looking like a freak when its twice the size of your right calf.

i always want to shift. i kinda freak out when i drive any auto car… i feel like i am not paying attention enough or soemthing.
lol…i know, i saw that yesterday when i first got in it…im like ummm…cassettes? wtf? lol but it still has the cd player…that will all change soon enough…
i love shifting, but ive always had an auto DD…we do alot of road trips etc…its just better for us. that way…though like i said, had we seen a 6 sp, it would have been hard to turn down. there is only like 5 of these used in all of wny…

That and when i start an auto… i always do the Clutch KICK. and miss the pedal wtf…
ehhh…thats always how it happens. i got it for a good price though…having a pending deal with mike barney helped alot…all in all, it was stickered for $23k…i got it for around $13k wih my trade.
edit: i tend to look for the clutch pedal as well…
took me 3yrs to find a 5spd maxima so as u i bought an auto then looked for th next 3 yrs for my 5spd

he could have found and 04-06 6spd…the news ones arnt as sporty as the older gens…i just like the motor
well, I guess if you want certain year, model, options, previous owner, anything gets hard to find
