Actually, look for Intel to make a nice comeback in 2006 with their ground-up new CPU Conroe and the dual core Yonah as well. Should be interesting.
intel will never touch AMD, i dont care how many new cores they come up with.
You want to bet on that. Yonah has just as good of memory bandwidth as AMD and the controller is off-core. I will post when an official Conroe release is out and we will see what happens…

You know had you said that 10 years ago everyone would have laughed at you. Although Intel has a hell of a gap to make up if AMD could do it a few years ago. There is no reason the same couldn’t happen again later on down the road.

We shall see… Intel has the advantage on the process technology. They have 65nm process down pat where AMD needs to catch up. But, Intel needs to get a better bus technology and get a memory controller on the damn die of their CPU’s now… WTF are they waiting for?!
