I have a kawasaki. I have not had any problems with it at all. I am more of a yamaha fan too. You have a very nice bike. But yeah just be careful and watch out for other drivers. Seems like you should be fine as long as you respect the bike and know your limitations and what you are willing to risk. Goodluck.
I wish i would have went straight to a 1000 instead of buying that R6 i had… i was bored with my 600 within a month.
I’ve heard both theories from a lot of people… i guess it’s just different for each person and their ability to adjust…
you can have fun a 600. its how you are able to ride. i know a few ppl on 500s that will smoke ppl on larger bikes. a Tiller isnt the same as a inline litre bike. power output is totally different and actually has alot less HP then the inlines. Yes they do have torque. as far dirtbike to street. totally different, not one thing is comparable in riding styles.
that bike is crazy to be some1ns first bike but like u said as long as u know your limits you have nothing to worry about…when i’m lucky my brother lets me ride his zrx1200r
and i only weigh 135lb…i know that bike isnt as fast as urs but its not slow
i agree, nothing is exactly the same, but the amount of caution you must take is very similar… also, it seems as if you are trying to say that someone that has mostly dirtbike experience, with 3 years of streetbike riding, will not be able to ride a 1000cc sportbike… i’ve known a couple of ppl that ride big street bikes and thought they’d be all tought and considered that “wimpy 450” to be no problem… then they learned their lesson when they landed flat on their back after pulling the front end over their head… not to mention, they’ve scared themeselves shitless…
so i dunno how you ride, and how your friends ride, and how their friends ride… but there is no problem in having a 1000 if you have riding experience (and ur not idiotic)…
and honestly, even if you have 20 years of experience and you think you’re all that, if you’re not cautious, you’re gonna wreck (whether its ur fault or not)…
i’m graduating w/ a degree in Actuarial Science, and insurance companies make their rates they way they are for a reason… its not b/c older drivers are better riders and have more talent, its b/c young drivers are irresponsible… it has nothing to do w/ ability
i never said it was my first bike… yes, its my first 120whp bike, but as i’ve repeditively said… well, i’m sick of repeating it
never said you couldnt handle that bike. if you think 120rwhp is alot try 150rwhp now that is different
sorry about that…repeating what u rode dirtbikes for years and years…
its cool…
Mod it…
