hm. didn’t expect that.
Nice. I love the new regals
Was totally expecting this to be a Miata.
Nice! What are the specs on these bad boys again? What is the button on the shifter for? Reverse lockout? Have you smashed the GS button yet?
" push the dashboard’s “GS” button for maximum stiffness "
this is FWD, right?
It is reverse lockout. I have smashed the GS button. Road head for miles and miles.
Correct. 2014 Regals have added an Awful Wheel Drive option but only with the automatic.
Nice color
That sucks, I thought the awd ones would be cool. Nice pick up!
yeah these cars are dangerously close to being awesome.
Eh. I’m not a fan of AWD in general but the Haldex system in the Regal is a good system. I’d rather have a manual than AWD with an auto, though.
There’s a surprising lack of torque steer.
yeah, they are right on the line of “did you aunt lend you her car” and a quirky fun sports sedan.
start blacking things out and they look better
haha awesome, enjoy it! Is it your new daily?
Congrats on the new Regal, I love my Turbo!!
On a side note these cars pull fairly well.
A month ago on the XXX a newer (13+) V6 Stang tried passing me, I hammered it and we were neck and neck to the exit, he ended up braking and having to get behind
That does suck that awd doesn’t get a manual transmission. I thought they did but that’s too bad.
Nice car. Just curious why the Regal and not the Cadillac ATS rwd? I’m pretty sure the awd auto transmission has a low tq rating and is pushing it’s limit with the stock motor. If you plan on a tune or any basic mods in the future you made the right choice.
Good question because I’ve driven the ATS and CTS a lot and love them. There are currently no roof rack options for the ATS. I bike a lot. The trunk is really tiny – we took an ATS up to Pictured Rocks and our four backpacks barely fit.
ATS 6Ms are a chore to find new, and finding a used one in my price range was going to be even more of a task. The used market has many 2012 Regal GS manuals coming off lease because they were only offered with a manual for the first six months. I looked at four in metro Detroit before buying this one, to put it in perspective.
I prefer the Regal’s styling (inside and out, original and refreshed) to the ATS. There are better cars than a Regal GS, but it checks the right boxes for me. And now I own a manual Buick… it’s special by virtue.
This will be my only car. My partner is taking my 2012 Focus. He considered a new car but the Focus handles like a champ. And I’m not going to argue with that.

I surprisingly like the stock wheels you could get on this car too, these ones are pretty good looking for an oem wheel, especially from a Buick

guy i worked with when I was younger bought a car in phoenix, that had stickers previously applied to it.
Anyways he bought the car without looking too much at the paint. The scroll of “gay love affair” was burned into the paint for eternity down the side of it.
