How far from the road is the face/cave?
Are there any signs around the cave which could help one get back to the road if they were unfamiliar with the territory?

4 - 500 feet give or take
5 - you wont find the cave, you could be 3 feet from it and wont see the way in.
this is down IN the gorge, there is no easy way back to the road, and even if there was, you cant park anywhere near it due to the park being closed at dusk
You guys parked at the aquarium didnt you? wish I would have gone, but man did i really need my sleep, i think i had a few beers, passed out from lack of sleep and woke up around 1pm, so this definitely wouldn’t have worked out. but sweet pictures.
did you guys go through the whole plant, or what you could go through?
no you dont want to park there, your car probably wont be there in the AM
i’ve been through the whole thing many times, so no we didn’t wander around really
