Today is day two in Rome and I am beat. We flew all day Monday, got to the hotel at 10am Tuesday morning and went out on the city an hour or so later. (read: no sleep Monday into Tuesday. Maybe an hour in the Philly airport)
Here are the pictures from Tuesday, in no particular order. I’m really against getting pictures of things you can find on google, nor do I like random people in my shots if I can help it. So you wont see too many recognizable places, a few, but I really tried to get the unseen parts of Rome. Almost everything was shot on auto, I don’t have time to mess with the settings when everyone else is on the move.
(why am I in Italy? My dad got married last Saturday and he took us (step mom, her two kids, and me) on a family vaca. he paid for the trip, she buys the food and incidental travel)
The Vatican, Parthenon, and some churches today, Colosseum tomorrow, Pompeii on Friday, Venice on Sunday, home on Thursday.
Hopefully I wont get too behind in editing my favorite pics. Today I shot 250+, yesterday was 215. Only 5-10% actually make it past my pictures folder.
holy shit they are all over the place. I have been trying to snipe pictures for you guys with minimal results. I am going to try to be more daring. lol
ok, who wants to host and post my creeper pictures? I have 246 from today. Some are hot, most are normal. lol. I dont have the time to host it and i dont feel like clogging up my photo bucket.
Nice dude! I will be living in Rome for 5 months, leaving 3 weeks from today… I am glad you got to see alot of the good stuff, my family lives 15 minutes from Pompeii. I would recommend checking out the Amalfi Coast; Positano, Capri. Enjoy!
I didnt get to Rome when i went; Venice, Milan, Modena, Maranello and Venice was the only place (in all of europe actually) that gave me immediate culture shock.
Thanks for all the comments guys. keep an eye out for my Italian Girls thread in a few days. I definitely have anti-jet lag as I voluntarily woke up at 445 Today. I am so glad to be back though.
