What caused that damage to occur? The whole block is a lump of scrap metal now, that’s outstanding carnage.
probably a dropped valve, all LS7s are prone to the guides wearing out at very low miles, it’s a design flaw that GM has not taken responsibility for
Last motor I saw that dropped a valve at a track event looked pristine compared to that LS7. I especially like the missing chunk out of the block
