I’m currently boosting my ka24de. I have the whole setup mocked up and I’m just thinking about all the NA vacuum lines. I already eliminated some of the intake manifold lines that I know I don’t need, but is there a full write up somewhere of ones to keep and ones to eliminate? I’ve tried searching and have come up with some info but I want to make sure I get it all. Thanks.
depends on what you want to ditch and what you want to keep.
Ok thanks for the link. I’ve eliminated some more lines, what about the charcoal canister? I need it bc around here there are quite a few tree hugger searches but how will any of the lines for it work if I’m boosting my motor? Thanks for the help guys
i have a small catch can with a check valve instead of all the evap lines and canisters and bs like that. no more EGR as the article said. and no idle control. set idle with the screw on the butterfly stopper. or if u like u can drill small hole on the butterfly to regulate air.

in this setup the tank is getting a little bit pressurized when eng is off (from the opening setting of check valve). when eng running its getting vac to the tank sucking fuel fumes and making eng a bit more efficient. under boost the check valve stops the flow of boost juice into the tank. u can alternatively do what racers do and just put an atmospheric breather.
Ok thanks. By any chance can someone send me a link to a schematic of all the vac lines off the intake? I’m just thinking I’m going to need to figure out which ones Ill use for my wastegate and BOV hook up. Thanks.
Nvm found some schematics. Thanks.
