The crater was only 65 feet wide and there were no explosives on board, it merely ran into the moon at 9000km/h causing an impact crater.
A 65 foot crater on the moon is tiny.
I watched it live and was pretty disappointed.
I was watching CNN and Kieran Chetry kept gigling at every mention of “10 or 12-inches”…I think she had nothing but dick on her mind at the time.
