Saw your booth at VUB Edmonton. Curious to meet other Nissan fans. Never had my Altima on a dyno before. Would anyone be able to tell me how to interpret the data?
(I know power vs. RPM, but beyond that like how to use the run to tune the engine)
Welcome to the board 1GAlty, now there are two Altimas here!! 1st gen’s 0wn. I’m gonna come to the dyno day but just to watch, not gonna put my alty on the dyno.
Due to the heavy interest. The day has been booked with Apex Modified for Saturday August 21st, 2004 at 10:00am
Please vote and let us know who you are if you plan on coming or email admin@n-e-c-c.com to register.
Included:
The Cost is $60
Up to 5 runs on the dyno
Full Wideband use
Printed and CD Graphs
Hotdogs and Pop
This just under a $200 value for ONLY $60. Take advantage of this now.
Around a 13 car maximum for the day.
Cruise and Meet after the Dyno day.
Anyone and everyone is welcome.
The cost is dependent on how many people show up to dyno. If under 10 people show to dyno, the cost will be going up about $10 to cover all of the costs for the day.
Pre-payment will be needed to collect ($60). This will ensure that you are coming to the event, and the NECC is covering is asses. Please pay this to Jared (1mns13) at the August Monthly meeting August 1st.
After the dynoing, we will possibly split for dinner, and then meet at a aggreed upon location. Cruise, and then head to United Cycle for another big NECC entrance.
Don’t let us down people, lets make this one a big success.
Gooooooooooooo NECC!!!
Also, the poll options have been reduced to 2. Either you are or you are not coming. Please re-vote if you have voted the (will discuss further) option. If you are unable to vote for some odd reason. Please post it up here.
Alright, so after last nights Monthly meeting, we have a bunch of people registered.
Aaron (SRBURG13)
Jared (1mns13)
Mike (DoubleDown)
Ryan (not online, S14)
Mark (sil_eightyRPS13)
Evan (not online, S14)
Rob (RS13)
8 ) Scott (TyPhOOn)
Reid (Reid)
Dan (DconZ)(Tentatively)
So we have approximately 4 spots left over. Register quick.
These people have given me their “WORD” as I asked them over and over again if they were going to come FOR SURE, and they all replied “YES”. So you guys are no shows, we will hunt you down and hang you by your toe nails.
Weird. I pressed the same sequence of numbering with the bracket, and it makes that smilie. I’ll change it
Also, for those that did vote above and said that they are going to go, and still haven’t let me know that they are the ones that votes, you might be SOL if you don’t contact me and tell me that you are in, because it’s first come first serve kinda deal.
So, if both of the tentatively scheduled people show up, that means we only have 1 more spot open, give or take one.
PM me or 1mns13 immediately for your registration.
Like Jared said above, please arrange to drop off the money to 1mns13 (Jared) as soon as possible before Sunday, the 15th of August. You will be receiving an email about this as well tonight.
I’m not sure if this would be possible Aaron, but a friend of mine has a '66 Mustang that has just been built and he’d love to do a little dyno tuning if possible. The car is estimated to be putting down ~450rwhp from a 289, so that would be pretty impressive to see.
Anyhow, I figured I’d throw that out there to see if there’s a chance. Unfortunately I’m going to be photographing Mark Seto’s little brother’s wedding that day so I won’t be able to make it.
If you could have him email me, and give me his WORD that he is going to come, along with handing $60 to Jared by the 15th, then I don’t see a problem. Although, how about we wait and see if there are more Nissans wanting to dyno, if there is a spot open, then yes, he can dyno, until then, we might just have to see if the spots can be filled by the Nissans first.
