NECC Dyno Day! August 21st, 2004

Oh k. I talked to Adam at Apex. And he said that the weekend of August 21st and 22st works for them over there.

Which day should it be? On a Saturday we could go cruise to UC after and still chill late. But Sunday might yeild more people, although most people would have to work in the morning and what not.

Personally, I would like a Saturday, but either way works.

I’m in for either day.

The Saturday sounds good for me and UC after would be sweet.

I’d be up for the Saturday (the 21st) but still only tentatively at this point, don’t mark me down as attending for sure just yet.

…Dan

Aug. 20th is a friday
Aug. 21st is a saturday.
just FYI.

Yup thats what i said. The 21st is a saturday and the 22nd is a Sunday. Sheesssh.

I think I might just book that day with Apex. Saturday the 21st of August. That way we can really start planning.

I was also thinking that we get the other clubs involved like mentioned above by people. Great idea to get the numbers up.

Maybe a prize for most whp team of 5?

Does it have to be a Nissan in order to dyno that day? Just in case we don’t get enough people, I have a buddy with a monte carlo on 20’s which he wants to dyno. He thinks he’ll push about 400rwhp !?!

Hmmmm, I don’t it should be a problem. As long as all of the Nissan guys that want to dyno are entered first. If there is room, he can.

let me see what i can do but the 21st sounds alot better. other cars would be great

I’m going to have to change some shit on my car so I actually see gains at this thing. Stupid car not boosting past 8…it’s pissing me off! :x

So does this mean you will be down for dynoing?

And Aaron is the 21st a set date now?

Not set in stone. Unless there is big objections.

Saw your booth at VUB Edmonton. Curious to meet other Nissan fans. Never had my Altima on a dyno before. Would anyone be able to tell me how to interpret the data?

(I know power vs. RPM, but beyond that like how to use the run to tune the engine)

Thanks

I have another guy that is going to come as well. SR powered S14a. So make it 6 people.

Please say if you voted. So we know who to contact.

So far people for sure going:

SRBURG13
DoubleDown
1mns13
An S14
DeathBy240 (not sure)

If you were unsure, or I didn’t see obviously that you were coming for sure. let me know.

The cost will be $50/person, depending on how many people are dynoing.

Welcome to the board 1GAlty, now there are two Altimas here!! 1st gen’s 0wn. I’m gonna come to the dyno day but just to watch, not gonna put my alty on the dyno.

I’ll definatly come down to see some good numbers being pulled, i doubt i’ll put the “beast” on the wheels though

Update!

Due to the heavy interest. The day has been booked with Apex Modified for Saturday August 21st, 2004 at 10:00am

Please vote and let us know who you are if you plan on coming or email admin@n-e-c-c.com to register.

Included:
The Cost is $60

Up to 5 runs on the dyno

Full Wideband use

Printed and CD Graphs

Hotdogs and Pop

This just under a $200 value for ONLY $60. Take advantage of this now.

Around a 13 car maximum for the day.

Cruise and Meet after the Dyno day.

Anyone and everyone is welcome.

The cost is dependent on how many people show up to dyno. If under 10 people show to dyno, the cost will be going up about $10 to cover all of the costs for the day.

Pre-payment will be needed to collect ($60). This will ensure that you are coming to the event, and the NECC is covering is asses. Please pay this to Jared (1mns13) at the August Monthly meeting August 1st.

After the dynoing, we will possibly split for dinner, and then meet at a aggreed upon location. Cruise, and then head to United Cycle for another big NECC entrance.

Don’t let us down people, lets make this one a big success.

Gooooooooooooo NECC!!!

Also, the poll options have been reduced to 2. Either you are or you are not coming. Please re-vote if you have voted the (will discuss further) option. If you are unable to vote for some odd reason. Please post it up here.

Thanks.

OK, there is no Saturday, August 1st. So is it Saturday, July 31st or Sunday August 1st?

I really hope it’s the latter, since I’m working on the Saturday evening.
