Those are actually a chrome option from the dealership, not polished. Polishing takes too much effort for not a huge payoff. Besides, they’re only 16" so you can’t fit larger rotors which I plan on doing when I tackle my brake upgrade.

btw I don’t know why those stockers look so flush on the MR2, they are sunken as shit on Z32’s. I would need a +10-12 offset front and +20ish rear to be flush. I’m not trying to run spacers this time around either.

They’re about what I’m going to be looking at for a set of quality wheels I guess. I want to do it right this time so I’m going to be saving up a while.

I’m going to put off buying legit wheels for a while. I’m going to source 4 TT wheels which are 8.5" vs 7.5" for the NA. Should be able to find a good set for around $200. I want to focus on performance and buying a TT front clip/maintenance/upgrades. Heres a quick list of what I plan to buy off the top of my head.

My goal with my car is to have a streetable 500ish whp on a 93 pump tune. It shouldn’t be too difficult with what I have planned, seeing as stock T25’s can max out at around 400whp with the right supporting mods.

are you running the stock internals in this puppy or nah? its such a sick car.

Yeah stock internals will hold up fine. 500hp is about as far as I’d want to go on stock TT internals but I’ve seen Z’s running close to 600hp with no problems

Update-

Got my steering issue pinpointed. A seal on the powersteering rack is fucked and leaking fluid so when you turn the wheel the fluid isn’t pressurizing like it should. It basically goes from having full powersteering to no power assist when you start driving.

I’m putting off buying the pulleys until next week, going to do my power steering this week. Should I buy a used rack in good condition from Z1 or a rebuilt from Bap-Geon? Are reman’s from bap/napa reliable?
