Anyone know of a source for a 2.25" exhaust cut out? Summit sells a nice one, but it doesn’t come in 2.25", only 2.5 and 3" IIRC.
I guess fabbing one wouldn’t be too tough if none turn up, but I want to see whatever options are out there before I go to the effort…

summit has the 2and 3/8 also. isn’t that close enough to slip the 2and 1/4 inside and weld the seam. also Andrew, try stopping down at Heberling & Beck. If the can get it it would only take a day to get it and you’ll have it in time for this weekend. I just grabbed my H&B catalog and under Flowtech part# 53001 it says 2-3/8 slip fit for Mustangs and most 2-1/4 systems.

yeah down at kingston. BTW the Flowtech will probably be around $50-55 and the summit should be around $30. nearly identical pieces
and there gonna need welded in.

i have the mccord poweplate at the shop… check it out tonight
also have the quicktime somewhere… quicktime is more expensive and they are less willing to replace parts… the mccord is cheap, but it broke like 3 times…
i have the jegs 2.5 cutout on my car now… it’s fun to have an electric dump … worth it 110% :blue:

The 2 3/8" should prove to be workable with the 2.25" OD so we’ll give it a go. $35 shipped was worth it not to bother fabbing anything to me…
Dunno if I’m gonna throw the McCord “automatic trap door” under there, but I probably will.
I ended up buying this sucker, we’ll see if the OD of my existing 2.25" system and the ID of this 2 3/8" is compatible…
^that’s what i have… although mine has junk gaskets and the inside is like 2.25

it was working, along with 3 other makes of the same thing… i drive too hard.
when the thing hits the ground it tends to break… sometimes it ISN’T cool to drive 35+ miles with an open dump :hs:
i do have it though… not currently on the car :kekegay:
