Travis, you say you need a car and you wanna’ build an EG… well here ya go. This is THE best you’re going to get for your price range.
Cliff thank you for the find.
Travis if you’re as desperate as you say you are you [i]have[i] to buy either Pants Parties car and help him with his business (seems like he would make you a good deal as well) or a perfect project like that EG.
Eg has (relatively) low miles, great mileage while you keep it stock, great potential, reliable and everybody and their mother has a backup part for it if it breaks (or you manage to break it).
Do it.

Here you go.
I went back and looked at that 93 automatic GS again… it looks IMMACULATE. Yes its auto, drive it for the winter, save your pennies and swap it to a manual if you have to. You need a car, and you have a huge list of them…
92 white CX $2500 (try to talk him down)

had 1/4 panel rust fixed, c/f hood, etc.
QFT. TONS of EG parts laying around for CHEAP.
and not tryin to sound like a dick… but I’m rather sure that lil Travis fundraiser wasn’t made to fund you a racecar. I’m almost 99% certain they had that to help you get money for a car that’ll get you from point A to point B. Rust or not… ya shouldnt be picky.
:+1, Cliff found some great deals
there ya go travis ! w-body.com is your new friends, you’ll see my name around there on the old posts
I used to post on there too when I had my '97 Cutlass Supreme.
buddy of mine has a 1997 vw jetta 1000 buck only needs a reverse gear put in awesome car to daily PM me if interested
only :excited :
Pick up Pants Party’s Buick, it’s a good deal as… I’d rock a Buick anyday. Nice ride, comfortable, looks near mint.
I have some stuff 4 cheep. Some pick up trucks, buicks, a nice white Saab conv. etc. (518)542-3366 jeremy
the buicks were the most reliable out of the w body’s but i wont be rocking a w body ever again, im just done with them too much headaches
:rofl at the PS3 Cliff posted
hes buyin pants party’s car just had me pm him to set up a time and date…
you can get a 5 speed tranny for that car for like 150$ and just swap it out.
Being way too picky about finding a car. All you need right now is something that gets you from Point A to Point B. You definitely don’t need a car that is easy to mod. Figure your out your financial situation before you start blowing paychecks on something to keep you entertained.
Lurk around on www.vwvortex.com. I’m sure you can find a MK II for that price.
I had a 2 door Jetta I bought for $600 and I swear (aside from the CRX) that car ran awesome and hardly ever gave me any trouble and it had 280,xxx miles on it.
8 Valve motors FTW
