Need a new job, anything to do with cars...

anyone know of someone that’s hiring? i’m tryin to get into just about anything that has to do with cars.

any help would be much appreciated

~Jay

come wash mine. i’ll give ya a dollar

On a side note… what are you strengths with cars?? that may narrow down your search

worked at Auto Zone for bout 3 years
was at Jiffy Lube as a Hood Tech for a bit
do almost all parts replacement for family members cars

would prefer doing something involving aftermarket parts coz that’s what interests me most, but all that really matters is that it’s car oriented

get a job at a speed shop as an installer

any ase training???

inspection linences???

while at auto zone, i passed the ASE pretest and went to college before the real one came along. i still actually have the full study book for it sitting on my floor.

haven’t gone for an inspection license yet, but i can’t imagine that being very hard thinking of what an inspection consists of, could be wrong

what the hell is a hood tech - you make sure it lines up when they’re done?

all the things that need done from the top for oil changes and do all the ancillary services people come in for (AC systems, Coolant Flush/Fill, Fuel Filters, Transmission Service, etc.)

send pic of g/f with resume to king3@zoominternet.net

best buy is always hiring installers

Best Buy was fun to work at, I did that install thing for a bit. I just love the look on peoples faces when you charge them for the parts to install when they said it was free.

fine print > dumb people

Anyways Jay Ill give you a job in my garage. Im always in need of a good Tool Bitch

Advance Auto Parts in Etna hiring starting at 7 per hour.

have a girl…
you don’t have to hide it kurt… :sadwavey:

and there’s a best buy right down the street from me so i might try out that installer thing for a while, i guess atleast until i can get into something that works with aftermarket parts installing and/or fabrication. only problem is i don’t have technical job experience in it, just things that i do on my own or with friends to base it off of, that and my interest in it

brian… you’ve seen pictures of my girl…

but yes… on topic please

education>starting out at the lowest possible level and working stupid ass jobs until you find one you want.

take some classes on things that will help with your field and start in the field you want to be in. working randon worthless jobs is not a very good career move.

:op:
…i’d hope that over the past like… 4 years i’ve known you, you’d know i’m better than that. :stick:
