Hay my car running a lil rough and i was wondering if anybody knew of any garages or if you know someone that had a smoke machine to check for leaks in my system. I live in Sprindale right by the Pittsburgh Mills.

Is that what they use to check for leaks, i have never done it before or heard of anyone doing it. I just read about on the forums. They said you need a smoke maching and an air compressor.

I think your headed in the wrong direction, or your just being very nondescript when you say its running “rough”.
well its running like it has a leak lol, it will almost want to stall, but i think i fixed it this morning lol. But what do i do take the smoke/fog machine and let blow into my intake and see if i see it leaking out. but that will only help till it get to the engine. i dunno.

Running like it has a vacuum leak, and wanting to stall aren’t really synonymous. Do the rpm’s hang when you drive rev it? is it idling higher? If you have a major post MAF leak then perhaps it will stall, but small leaks that require smoke machines to detect normally wont.
i found the problem and yes im an idiot, the ground wire for my AFC was not that stable lol. so that was the problem.

well i still want to use one, so it was not a complete waste. Im leaving for ATL tonight so i would not mind using next week, but there is a person that lives close to me and they have a maching too. But thanks i really appreciate it, but look on the bright side it will be ready to use for halloween next month.lol
