I need a plane ticket to bring me back up to Buffalo Tomorrow (Saturday) or Sunday AT THE LATEST. Ive been looking for a bereavement fare but cant seem to find one. Are the offered anymore? Would it just be better for me to drive up? It seems like all the flights have a 5-7 hr flight time with layovers and what not. It takes ~10 hours for me to drive up there. Its ~$180 for gas for me to drive there and back. What would you do If you were in my shoes, find a plane ticket, or drive up, keeping in mind that I need to have a way to get around once Im up there? Im sure I can use my friends truck while Im up there to get around if I were to fly, but what do you think is the best bang for buck?
If you need to be there ASAP, gas up the car and go. You also have transport around the area and back again. Get off nyspeed and go like 80-90. I made it to florida in just over 15 hours doing 90
Drive it, and take fun pics and good stories of random shit happening. planes are boring
now that our youthful members have gotten their -.02 out of the way, call a travel agent in your area
NWA had like 250 ish round trips for bereavement when I was looking
not here
If someone died, you have to call the airline, you can’t go to cheaptickets.com :duh:
Drive
I’d say either a) show up at the airport and find out rates or b) drive up.
use qixo.com to figure what the rates are, then offer around 50 percent off on priceline.
cool site.
Better than sidestep, and no sidestep spyware.
