if it is from japan then it is probably r32 gts-t brakes as they are a popular upgrade over there as they are everywhere and cheap …and very similar to z32
Judging by the pictures, do you guys think I need to resurface my rear rotors? They are definately not as clear/shiny as they were a few months back, but my pads are good… not sure what scratched them up.
R32 GTS-T brakes are alloy and have “sumitomo” stamped on the top left corner of the “NISSAN” logo…
I have iron calipers and I don’t have the “sumitomo” stamped on the top left but rather right about the “NISSAN” it says “550”
So far I’ve narrowed it down to either Iron Z32 brakes that apparently came on all N/A and Turbo models after 1992.5 - 1996 300zx or they’re S14 calipers/rotors… I remember reading somewhere that some s14s came with z brakes, but I’ve also read that iron caliper/rotor z brakes don’t exist…
The rear brakes look too small to be s14 brakes so I’m going to go with RS13s info…
nope^^ spindals are different. The S14 in Japan non q’s is 5 lug. That is what is on the rear of the car. You prob have S14 fron spindals or a GNC34 Stagia spindals as they are the same. Yopu need the front spindal assembly because R32/Z32 calipars wont bolt up to the factory S13 4 bolt. Its kinda complicates and when done right with the rear Z32/R32 its a bit of work aswell.
Front: 26mm thick x 280mm, magnet sticks to both caliper and rotor
Rear: Measured 9mm x about 250mm, but look like they’ve been machined before, magnet sticks to both caliper and rotor…
looks pretty similar to this picture: http://www.driftfactory.com/4link10.jpg
