Finally got my sticker yesterday. I put in a new steering rack, and it was defective. So I put my old one back in(all of this in an apartment complex parking lot mind you) and took it somewhere else like I should have from the start. So I basically messed up my alignment and wasted lots of time for no reason.
Ahh damn, I never saw this. I could of helped you out.
Also, I missed you somehow yesterday at Stephen’s. I saw your TA on the way out. Looked very nice! Even my wife said something! I really do have a soft spot for 3rd gen F-bods!
uh oh where’s Fry?
eh fuck it.
I never claimed to be an English major! lol
We missed each other at the shootout too! And thanks, I try to keep it nice. Slow as hell, but I love it anyway.
I always take my cars to Valvoline for inspections…
Usually the one at Dick/broadway I think is the intersection (near dick/walden)
I need an inspection now and will probably return there even though I live wayyy far away.
Whenever I fail, they don’t charge me.
Usually it’s over something stupid… last time it was my rear plate light was out… no big deal.
Got it fixed and went back.
They don’t even take your front tires off to check brakes.
I was watching them do inspections on cars before me, and they didn’t take them off… so I went up to the guy and asked if he could just use a torque wrench @ 100ft/lbs to torque it on… Because it’s a PITA when they impact them on (or fucking crossthread).
He told me they don’t have a torque wrench but he’ll turn his impact gun all the way down for me. I was like lllooooooooooolllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.
Then he just looked at the caliper and said no worries I can see your brakes are good!
Anyone else ask them that question?
I once took my camaro to Goodyear for a flat, and they said they’d mount it back on for me (I had a full size spare on the camaro, and the flat in the trunk)
So when it came time to rotate tires, I found out 2 of the studs were crossthreaded on that tire… I was pretty pissed.
Aside from the normal fact it’s just a PITA to get impacted tires off.
Well you definitely don’t want your lugnuts over-torqued. You can get warped rotors, etc. There are attachments to impacts that should automatically stop it at a specified torque value. When having tires put on, shops have over-torqued them before, but most shops should know what they’re doing and not do that.
LOL valvoline, i loved that place, half the board came through when I used to work there
Something tells me Valvoline isn’t gonna continue doing that after you posted it on an online public forum. I wish I knew how to do a picard on this app.

I too go to Valvoline for my inspections. I have never had an issue, even if my tires were -ahem- a little low on tread.
i quit working there over a year ago, and it was posted 4 years ago when i started to work there, picard yourself
↑ I miss Jerry from Valvoline. I think hes on transit now?
Depends where you go. The valvoline by the fashion outlet mall in niagara falls, is full of pricks. Took 35 fucking minutes for them to do an inspection on a truck with 3k miles on it.
Put the sticker in the window its brand new.
I wasn’t talking to you, junior.
then i apologize

Took my car to Valvoline for inspection on Sheridan, but the car is too low and would hit the rails . No go there.
No worries man.
I’m already tired of inspections lol Its time for ohio plates.
