I’m thinking about removing the body side moldings from my car. What do you like better, with or without. They are held on with double sided tape. I’ve been told it takes about an hour to get all the adhesive off, but that it wont damage the paint. How much horsepower will I loose without them?
ditch em, if you use a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive it cums off super easy
im voting for teh ditching of teh molding

Looks good either way, but i say keep them. I just think the vettes without them look like they are missing something.
yeah, they look good either way. when i had my vette I was in the same boat as you. Sadly, i left them on because they actually protect the car from door dings…not that I ever parked near anyone.
loose them. i think it looks alot better…plus you’ll gain like 32.76 hp with aerodynamics.

just a reminder, i know of a few cars who have done the same, and for some ungodly reason… there are holes behind them… i dunno why, but id double check into that…
there’s no holes behinds them.
check out corvetteforum.com there’s a lot of helpfull tips on doing it.
