Alrighty people, heres where I ask you, the typical consumers for some advice. I woke up this morning with this thought of wrapping the outside of the highest part of the building with wheels. after doing it i began to question my “fantastic” idea. so please, let me know what you think.

Definitely brightens the building up. Maybe just add 3 more to finish the front. Wrapping the whole building might look wierd.

Not sure what I think. About the color, I think light gray would work well. I am also picturing a 2ft blue stripe near the top on the garage. Something to break it up and would also draw your eye.
About the wheels, I will have to see it in person. How are you holding them up there, because you know some rt8 loser will come take one just because.

its going to be some sort of tall task to get one down from there.

i used a special wheel hanger mounted to the block with a tap-con screw, it is very difficult to place the wheel on the hok when you are up as high as you need to be.

i was on the fork lift hanging them, so id imagine it would take some creativity to remove one in an effort of theft.

BONUS. every wheel up there is a blem, they are worth shit cept for maybe 5 bux at the scrap yard. so if they do end up stealing one… well O’well haha

but if the cameras catch them, then obviously they were brand new, and like 10 billion dollars each…:sex:

That was my first thought. Someone’s going to jack at least one. But if they’re on there good and not worth much, leave them. I like it. Light grey with a red stripe FTW.

I like the idea, but not necessarily the style of the wheels. But at the same time, there is no reason for you to put perfectly good wheels up there either, so using what you have, it looks pretty decent. But I do agree that you need to paint a stripe or make the building gray or something like that.

Adding a darker color stripe at the top will help set off the chrome better. A darker blue as suggested above sounds good. But blue/grey is NTBs colors if i remember correctly.

Do you have any 18" subwoofer husks? you might be able to add a few of those so people know what work you do.

Doesn’t matter if the wheels aren’t worth much.
To a crack head that’s = a fix

Look’s like Rent a Rim moved in or a hubcap dealer.
I’d take all of them wheels and your cameras.

Not hard to park across the street, jump out with a mask run across Rt8
Break a camera with a broom handle and then have a buddy move the truck into your lot, smash and grab anything.

Attracting un-wanted attention.

I think it looks good Chaz, but I’d skip the grey/Red scheme. every ma/pop small business around here seems to adopt that color scheme.

It certainly looks better than that shite rack o’ sample wheels every custom shop on rt 51 sticks outside. Good creativity.

I had the same thought for the subs out there, i have to make a few calls, i know i can ahold of a couple.

BTW how bout a dark red, or burgundy color as a 4’ tall strip along the top, (photo choppers feel free)

Light gray paint with a red strip along the top behind where you hung the wheels would look great. (Same red as the First Bass in the window.) I’m diggin’ it.

You defintely want some paint scheme that is an obvious seperation from the dealer next door… I’d stay away from grey, you want it to be bold and make people driving by notice, especially the people who have been driving by for years and stopped looking at what they are driving past…
