So, to start I wasn’t sure which category this post should go into, so mods, feel free to move it. Basically I had a mechanic lined up to do a rebuild on my transmission with my shift kit and servo, its a 1994 3.4l Camaro with a 4L60e, this was all going to cost about $1000 all said and done. He recently got laid off and most likely won’t be able to do it, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good shop around here who might be able to do it for basically the same price. I’m not looking for a miracle, but maybe someone on here knows someone, its a cash deal too

he does all the work on r trannys for the F-bodies & trucks…and is familiar with the 4l60e’s
hodge for sure. i may be dropping a trans off there in a couple weeks if need ride home.

No joke…he’ll just know to build it a certain way, using billet servos, red bands, better clutches, etc. Hell, he even gave me choices of higher RPM stalls!
