He wasn’t that bad. If you watch the video, he only loses about 1/2 a car length on his shift, that isn’t so bad. The first race that we didn’t video he lost by 2+ cars, which was simply driver error of him not being in the right gear.
theres some other vids of his in car WOT shifting, I noticed could use a little work. But that cars all there running good and everything.
I agree, something’s fishy…
its called racing on the street, anyone can win.
I did four roll on’s with a bolt on c5 z06 yesterday, and went 2 out of four.
so many things come into play when you don’t go from a dig.
Plus, I bet that STi is at least 300lbs heavier than the Evo, maybe more. Hell, Mark dropped like 20lbs of ROTATIONAL weight per corner with the mini-brake kit. That really helps out…
there’s no way 267hp gives you that kind of facial expression lol
:snky:
Evo’s are for boost! :spank:
I disagree.
Going from a roll takes out all the variables except the car’s ability to accelerate, including traction (for 90% of us anyway) and the ability of the driver to launch it. Shifting is still important obviously…
