I went and picked it up today, not too bad of a trip, was right outside of Utica
As with any 10yr old car it has a few minor flaws
small spider webbing of front bumper cover on bottom (aprox 6") and small spot on back bumper (aprox 6")
It has a couple typical Fbody dimples on the drivers quarter on the top side (I will get these fixed) and lastly the drivers side headlight keeps grinding for a few seconds when its closed (common problem)
Besides that the car is awesome, interior is mint, the paint shines nicely
It ran awesome on the way home, oil pressure was 50psi while driving and 40psi hot idle, it never broke 180f on the temp gauge
I ran it aprox 210 freeway miles @ 75mph-85mph and aprox 30 city miles, it used 2/3s of a tank with ice cold AC on the entire time
The car is 100% bone stock down to the airfilter but pulls very strong, I would guess I could knock off a 13.2 @ 107 or so as it sits
Mileage is currently 28,1xx
It is a 2 owner car, the first owner was a woman who owned it until 2000 and 19k miles and the guy I bought it from is 60+yrs old and a retired man who owns a strip club and a garage, he bought it in 2000 and only put 9k on the car in 8yrs
He just put brand new 275/40/17 Goodyear Eagle GS C Z rated all the way around and a new battery
The dude has a crazy car collection, he has a few low mile Rumble Bees, a Viper, a Z06 Vette, a SRT10 Pickup ect ect
The car has never been raced or even hotrodded for that matter , hard to believe but its true
It has been garage kept and washed and waxed but never really detailed, so thats my job…
Over all I am very happy and I think it was a good deal for 12k
Next year when my budget recovers I may heads/cam/stall it or I may keep it bone stock (how many 4th gens are still low miles and 1000% stock?) and buy a beater fast car (hmmm if you still have the car a year from now Cory lol)
Heres a few pics I took tonight, I will post up some daylight pics tomorrow if its not raining
