New cellphone Camera tech erases people in background.

It’s essentially photoshop build into the software of the phone/app.

As long as it’s not just tied down to the HTC phone they displayed and will be used across all platforms this is a cool tech that we will all be using a year or two from now.

Granted it’s still limited to a certain degree such as extremely crowded places or likely low light situations but some use is better than none.

Picks up anything that moves, then you can click on them to delete?? That is how it seemed to work. Brilliant and (relatively) simple.

Yep, seems to scan background in the meantime and build background info made out of non moving objects.

We hold the camera rather steady for a second or two before each shot on the regular anyway.

It’s obviously software based so I’m sure it works on other android phones. Pretty cool.

That’s awesome, sort of like the old trick of having a subject sit still and taking a long exposure so that the people walking through “disappear”… only way easier and with a lot more control it looks like, cool software for sure.

the phone has to continue to point at the subject and same background as you edit it so the software can see the area behind the removed subjects in order for it to work.

So if you want to remove anything not moving you’re shit out of luck. Still a great idea though

which means a good photobomb is still a viable option!

Just gotta get more creative and stand still
