I attended the pre-release party the other night on this car, man is it a sexy beast in person.
Pictures really don’t represent the car as it should. This has to be seen in upclose.
It looks much larger in pictures and much smaller when you’re standing next to it.
The kicker is, it only cost about $300 more than last years model with a huge number of improvments over the previous gen.
Fit, finish, the feel of the materials. Just wow. One curious thing, is that they utilize two latches to secure the hood… Odd…
They’re not in the showroom anymore as of today (both were supposedly sold) and with the current strike at the Vancouver port, who knows when they’ll be getting more.
Can’t wait for them to get a unit for test drives… Whenever that will be
But the event was worth it just to see Jared in a suit, looking slick buddy!

Basicly if you EVER shopped on the infiniti side or erickson you got invited. But its still cool. I was there for the release of the M35/M45 and it was pretty cool
This is the new G35 Sedan, correct? I think I saw an '07 Coupe the other day… it had new rims on it, but they didn’t look aftermarket, so I’m assuming that’s an '07 thing.
yah that new sedan looks great,at first it doesn’t seem that much difffrent till they are parked next to the old ones and they are leaps ahead. when is the coupe due for a redesign?
They had some of the Nissan guys stay, well the guys that worked the evening shift, it was a good turn out, I’ll speak for the way they drove:

Infiniti has done an amazing job with the fit and finish of the vehicle, the drive was amazing, so solid and more power and more torque, it really suits the vehicle really well. That was one thing I was worried that yes they would redesign it for 2007 but would it drive like 2006? I sure was wrong on that end!
The coupe should be around the end of 2007, it will most likely be released as a 2008 model.
Oh yeah, yay for free food too…that’s what more or less some of the Nissan guys were doing, I have never seen so many Infinitis in our parking lot, it was like IECC (Infiniti Enthusiasts Car Club) That and wow were there a lot of QX56s, I have never seen that many QXs in one area before, even in our parkade…
