I forget how i found this place but it looked cool seeing as how i am from NY. I figured i would introduce myself. My name is Brian. I live in Suffolk County which is on the eastern end of Long Island. I am 20 years old and i have 2 cars. (and broke as hell from having them) I have a 2002 Camaro Z28 and a 2006 Cobalt SS/SC.
I had the Camaro first then i bought the Cobalt thinking i was getting rid of the Camaro. I just couldn’t sell it. I kind of like the fact that i have a tuner car and a muscle car now though.
Anyway, I will start with the Cobalt. I bought in June of 2006. I started modifying it a couple months later. I went through pretty much everything on this car. I had it to pretty much full bolt on capacity. It was putting out around 285 whp and 265 wtq. This was on around 20 lbs. of boost and methanol injected. I recently demodded it so it can resumed a reliable daily driver status. The meth is off the car and I upped the pulley size to run less boost. (16 lbs. now) I just have a solid tune on the car now, pretty conservative though, but it’s enough power to have fun with. It’s running a dyno proven 250 whp and 235 wtq. As for appearances, it’s dropped on SSC sport springs, wingless and i shaved all the badges.
The Camaro is mostly stock right now. I bought it used in October of 2005. It had 2900 miles on when i bought it. It now still has less than 20k miles on it with only 16k and change. Right now as it sits it has a clear MTI Lid and an SLP Loudmouth Cat-Back. (still faster than my Cobalt ever was. haha) I did however just purchase a new exhaust for the car. I got some polished stainless steel longtubes and matching y-pipe as well as a new SLP Dual Dual Cat-Back. A heads and cam package is also in its future but i don’t have anything for that yet.
