New guy

just checkin in. name is Jake I have a 2009 Honda Civic Si Coupe Rally Red.

welcome hunduhh owner

Welcome

Thanks guys. And thanks for that great interpretation of the brand Honda.

I had an 06 Cobalt SS Supercharged moded to the max, traded in for a 09 lancer, now the 09 civic SI. Civic is by far the best of the three and I can see why Chevy is going in the crapper after driving 2 imports now. Just my thoughs the Honda is going to be easy to work on and mod and much more reliable when doing so

welcome. You sure upgraded a notch or two. New Si coupes are cool.

Well my cobalt all said and done was at 300whp/280wtq. So the power isn’t an upgrade yet. It will be shortly though after I finish laying out my turbo plans. But the quality is a huge step up

welcome

hi

The idea behind this forum is for you to make a thread introducing yourself.

The idea behind introducing yourself is for you to let us know pertinent details about yourself. Some of the details would be where you’re from, what you drive, the mods it has, what you’re into, what you’ve done before, what you plan to do in the future (car wise, we don’t want to know that you’re going to finish your Doritos then jerk off to midget porn.).

Pics of car/your girlfriend/sister/sister’s girlfriends are all welcome.

“Hi my name is Cockspear Q. Nibblescrote and Im new so I thought I would make a thread” is really fucking pointless.

THE MORE YOU KNOW!

ok stupid question… but how the hell was ur cobalt SS “modded to the max” and only put down 300 hp to the wheels? I have a friend who put down 299 (yeah he was pissed) and he just has an exhaust and intake?

and get a read chevy before you say honduh is better

other than that… welcome!

Ok, I guess max was an exageration. Also your buddy didnt have just an intake and an exhaust on a Supercharged cobalt and have 299, cause if he did, HES A GOT A SPECIAL ONE, or he has a useless motor because he probably had one of the most unsafe tunes possible. Maybe if he had the turbo’d balt. I would do some research before spouting off like that, or your thinking wheel. Remember supercharged cobalts came labeled at 215hp from the factory and thats basically what they were putting down at the wheels, and if your buddy had an intake and exhaust that added 84 whp, i dont even care if it was a good tune. He best be selling those parts or telling people where he got em cause the guys on cobaltss.net would love to see those  Cause its a tough feat to get to 300whp on that stock m62 charger. Oh also every dyno is different and those sure sound like some juiced numbers for the shop to make the customer happy. I would love to see this car and dyno chart in person though, Id be astonished and floored if its true

Mine was moded to the max on basic bolt ons not doing heavy engine work and such, or moving to a twin screw, or TVS.

Its also real not read. And considering I was comparing cars in the same class on quality, getting a corvette or new camaro yes would be better then a civic, but we are talking sport compacts. Thanks for the input though

Was this a turbo SS or supercharged SS? Either way intake/exhaust isn’t going to get you 50 whp out of turbo and 90 hp out of a supercharged ecotec.

Just as i said above. I did all the work and tuned my car on my own and it wasnt easy to get to that 300 mark, and again all dyno’s are diff so the fluctuation is there but not that much.

turbo… was intake/exhaust/tune. was on a dyno jet… unsure of it was corrected or not. I will post pics of the dyno sheet for $$$

So basically you didn’t read my whole post you just wanted to make a comment since mine was supercharged. Also it wasn’t just an intake an exhaust it was a tune. I sti don’t believe those gains. And to ask for money for dyno sheets is just hilarious and shows more of the fact that it’s probably inflated. Next time just read my post.

ok girls, carrier on in the other forums!:booty:
