So my Pioneer finanlly broke after 5 years and 3 cars. Actually the forward skip button broke. But its time to get a new modern unit this is what ive been looking at.

I’d still go with Pioneer, I like their equalizer shit better and I think they’re easier to use… However I’ve been thinking about getting an Alpine simply because I don’t like the style of the new Pioneer decks, so…

Edit: I do like that that is iPod ready and has USB and all that fun goofy shit.

i am 100% against alpine, at least there new ones shit…stick with a pioneer they sound the best and outlast/perform the rest

I’ve got the 9855 and I love everything about it except the stupid GlideTouch crap.

Are you the one that was looking to have the Full Speed hookup for it from 1st Try?

alpine is nice. buy one! get all the goodies to go with it. processor and F#1 status stuff. do it, do it

um already purchased it cda-9857 bout a month ago got the ipod cable, and getting xm next week.
