Thermahelm has worked up a new motorcycle helmet that incorporates a layer ammonium nitrate and water that instantly mixes in the event of a crash. The chemical reaction will maintain a 37-degree brain temperature, which is said to stave off oxygen loss to the brain.

i was confused for a second about the 37* thing… its 37c or 98.6 F it just maintains normal body temp. pretty cool idea. that suck if you drop your helmet and that goes off. Cant be cheap to replace.
