Supposed to be bad ass and fast. They open tomorrow.
One of the guys on my site is a tech inspector, so I’ll have more specs on the track tomorrow.
It’s right next to the 290 entrance on NFB.
We are already in the works of planning a meet there.
IN, I was just talking about this place a few days ago with some friends. The guy I was training last week told me about it, he helped build it at his last job before he came to work for us.
Trying to find out a package deal for a bunch of people.
What is Open Racing?
Open Racing is the time available to the general public to “arrive and drive.” This is a first come, first serve basis and drivers race against the clock. There are 8 minute heats and there can be up to 25 racers each heat.
How long does each race last?
Each race is 8 minutes which is about 20-25 laps depending on the skill level of the driver.
What should drivers wear?
We recommend sneakers but do NOT permit sandals or open-toed shoes. Comfortable, light clothing is best however, we provide full length driving suits that fit over regular clothes. We also provide helmets and gloves and a required head sock can be purchased for $3.00.
How much does it cost?
Open racing is $20 per session. We offer a membership package that allows members to pay $17 per session.
Spread over 38,000 square feet, our 1/4 mile course offers race fans the ultimate karting experience. The track is also equipped with a computer lap timing system that details each racers statistics. At the end of each race session your personalized race sheet will be available for you.
The outline of the track is lined with official NASCAR tires, straight out of North Carolina, NASCAR country! Racers can choose from oval track or the European style track and can race up to 25 other racers at one time.
