engine mounts and rad hoses will be here monday or tuesday
this stuff is promising.
the sway bar endlinks i had on display at the meet are from the same company. the stuff is built well enough and inexpensive enough such that it isnt really worth the time for me to try and design a better product.
plus, these are some interesting items that most people SHOULD have that are just prohibitively expensive usually, until now
they will fit the KA, from what i see and from what i have been told they are identical to the nismo mounts.
they are said to be superior performance wise but that may just be a marketing ploy though i have heard that the nismo mounts are only an average upgrade but who knows what to beleive really.
i know these will be much cheaper, like in the $220 range cdn shipped.
the mounts literally look and feel identical to nismo mounts… me thinks someone found out who makes them?
the rad hoses are a different matterial than the samco hoses but look to be thicker… i have samco hoses on my car and they do not have the same material thickness as these blue ones.
i think u were asking for more stuff people would ask for what about this?
This should be relatively inexpensive and easy to make.
Nagisa Auto in Japan manufactures the NAMS line of bars, one of them being the NAMS fender bar. It bolts to the door hinges and ties the firewall to the front strut tower area. Once again we contacted our Japanese parts expert Sam at JSpec.com. The installation of the bar requires removal of the front fenders and the drilling of one hole near the strut tower as shown in the pictures. Longer bolts are recommended for the door hinges, as the fender bar spaces the bolt out but there was enough thread left on the bolt for a safe installation. Loctite is used on the bolt to prevent it from coming loose.
The bars made turn-in a lot more responsive and the front end feel was more direct. Straight-line driving yielded no difference in chassis feel compared with the car prior to installation. Quite possibly the best part of the install was the fact that it is invisible on the outside of the vehicle, keeping a low profile.
