New Mugen Civic Type-RR!!!!

Sick video from Mugen Japan site!! :wackit:

Too bad we’ll never see it on these shores

http://www.mugen-power.com/street/RR/

why dont they ever make them in the coupes i never understood that its always either a hatch or sedan

but either way a nice car that is almost the same as mine just different body and some mugen parts

you may have failed to notice that it is $38K, for a Civic!!!

yeah we are getting a mugen si sedan it has a 30k price tag and has no
performance parts just looks and wheels

Sweet ride, but wouldn’t pay any more than $25k.

I agree, it needs a few more “R’s” before it interests me

yea cuz its a limited production vehicle, they are only releasing 1000 cars to the states and that doesnt mean much to many people cuz they say its still a civic but it is a very nice car

if things go bad for some unknown reason and I have to get rid of the S im picking up a Si its def more affordable then the S but for now im all happy!

its still a honda :stick:

the mugen SI is supposed to be rated at 300hp that we are gettin

no its not they aren’t doing anything to the motor
and its the same motor as a normal si

and its still just a camaro anyway you put it, its just all in what ya like

and its still just a chevy anyway you put it, its all in what ya like

Its getting all the aero kit stuff and 18x7.5 wheels (idk what the current Si comes with it may be the same???), mugen suspension that lowers the car 15mm, and an exhaust

Looks like the motor is a little worked over.

“Designed to be perhaps the ultimate front-engined/front-wheel-drive performance car, the Mugen RR sheds an additional 10kg (22 lbs) off the standard Civic Type R’s weight, coming in at 2733 lbs. In addition to the weight loss, the freer-breathing Mugen RR picks up 15 horsepower over the regular Type R. It’s rated at 240 horses at 8,000 rpm and 160 lb-ft at 7,000 rpm.”
