New Nissan Versa vs Old Sentra Crash Test

Crazy, talk about a dramatic difference in safety. The sentra was sold in that body style in the US from 1990 to 1994, but continued to be sold in Mexico as they dont have the same safety regs.

I’ve seen that a while ago, and it replays through my mind everytime I drive my B13 (or get in a cab in Mexico). I had to pass this video around work Friday, because it was the first time I drove it into work.

Crazy how different they are in the crash considering the size comparability. Just goes to show you how far crash worthiness has come.

This is still my favorite though, especially when I hear old farts talk about how much better the old tanks were in a crash and how they’d cut through a modern car like it was tissue paper. Uh huh, sure buddy.

Thank you for sending me down yet another youtube black hole…

Another good one:

I’d still rather have the old style Sentra
