What hp bracket you shooting for?
I believe the CAs are like 180hp or so? :dunno:
I imagine that’s where he’ll sit for awhile until he gets funding to up his
boost (with bigger turbo et al).
I must say while it is nice to have people helping out, there is a point when people just start to get in the way. After people left we were looking for parts that we did not remove and tool were everywhere, but yes it was nice to have the help.
The hole thing prob would of went faster if we did not get fauls info from other frums. One forum said it was posible to use the KA clutch on the CA, this did not work. Aswell as the exuast, it was said you can use the SR dump pipe in the ca however it causes the rest of the exhuast to be out of wack. Same case with the SR down pipe.
On a side note …Jesse has no tools and the ones he has are crap. I was fighting with the soldering iron for a good 15 min to get one 1 wire soldered.

Yeah chris KA clutch will work but you need to grind away some of the bell housing on inside apparently to clear p-plate. This is what I have heard.

The clutch would not even bolt p to the preasure plate. Even after removing the apropriat dowe.l

everything is workin awsome now besides the gague cluster which i swaped out and got a temp replacement from bing
got a coilpack cover from avery today
i love all of you guys, i cant belive how helpfull everyone has been to me and i would like to thank everyone again.

engine currently boosts to 10psi
had to advance the timing 5 deg and now it has a lot better pull when not in boost and it does not detonate yet
gona take off the cover and make sure the timing belt is on correctly because it seems it was changed before.

tonight i took it for a nice drive
in 5th at 3000rpm the thing goes 95kmph. It has shitty gearing. I did manage to boost to 12.5 psi in 4th and fifth. Thing runs really rich still.
still have that whistling when i get into boost, and no its not the spoolup
gona re-do the vacume lines on the weekend.
also need a sohc throttle body cause the dohc is too long and we had to make a custom mount for now

gaaaaaahh gimme my cluster and my boost gauge back…
When do you dyno it?
Its stock and he doesn’t have the equipment to tune it yet, why would he
bother taking it to the dyno?
Weak. So i guess my next question is, what are the next mods?
