Anyway, i was just wondering about jeeps…as i dont know anything about them other than the transmissions on these things kinda weak.

Is there any jeep guys on here that may beable to put out some things i should look for? Problem areas?

that my friend is a grand cherokee

jeeps really dont have any problems,

gearhead has one similar to this one

As you said trannies are the only real problems I have heard of, as long as your on-road with it.

I have heard mixed reviews about them off road. I know a big off-road, gearhead guy, that says the late 90’s Grands are the best stock off-road vehicle he has ever been in. And he owns a late 90’s blazer with 8" lift, 35’s, lockers frobt and rear, it was built to go off-road, and likes the stock Grand better…

ORVIS Flyfishing equipment FTW!

i used to have a cherokee. it NEVER got stuck. never.

jeeps are fun

damn that is one clean orvis… i dont know much about that body style but my friend had a 98 5.9 and he loved it. have the transfer case flushed if you do buy it. if you have more questions, go to www.jeepsunlimited.com

ha ha, CT has a million Grand Cherokee’s, its hilarious. Good luck with the Grand Cherokee, I’ve been having a lot of small problems with mine. Oh yeah, delete the running boards, they don’t belong on a Jeep lol.

Orvis Interior = :greddy2:

Other than that, do the t-case fluid flush and do the tranny fluid flush, change the tranny filter and drive it.

yeah, definitly take care of the t case, as the center diff’s have about a 90% failure rate, lol.

my buddy has one exactly like that, just replaced the tranny too

I can dig. Infinity Gold Stereo FTW (With exception of the tweeters)

Have fun with it

Door hinges if the doors start to sag replace the pins and bushings you can buy them from advanced really cheap. I have a grand cherokee 5.2 all wheel drive and no lie I beat the shit out of it, good daily driver
