As dave said, this car has gone from a running car, to a shell and interior left, back to a running car from a heap of msc DSM parts! yeah it took forever, more so becasue I couldnt dedicate my time souly to it, we struggled to shoe horn it in between jobs to keep the lights on, and knew this one would take MANNNY more man hours than I could ever put on an invoice and charge dave for. I have to give dave the biggest thank you for sticking it out with us and letting me see it through to the end!
Like dave said, some small oversights and issues still have to be worked out. The car wasnt running on the shit injectors so I couldnt even drive it around the parkinglot until it was tuned. With that being said, all the small issues Synapse found pop up, would have been instantly realized the moment I drove it out of the garage. The brake and clutch system sat open for a year, and even though I bled them on the lift the night befor it left to go to Synapse, they still had to settle out and be rebled. The timing cover dave and I never had, and since the blocks stamped we assumed it wasnt needed. turns out you need it for the ignition timing on the CAS. The alternator belt I got was for a 1G non ac car, and because of the mix and match of accessories, aparantly it was too long. I tentioned it but it was at about 1/3 from being bottomed out, as it ran it loosened up and ran out of adjustment.
I just wanted to clarify that. Either way, I told dave the day it was towed away to get tuned… anything that needs to be addressed that would have been included in the original work will be addressed by me free of charge naturally. I couldnt be 100% sure of my work, since I didnt get to test drive it.
Never the less, its back for round 2ish. Lets rock!
