maybe it is. 4 big slicks and a hard launch and that mitsudodge driveline might scatter all over the track
Anything can happen at that power level but they are making passes.
time to hire Shep to drive.
That’s not the problem either. The car is going 1.3 60’s.
I am writing these ideas down though. :lol
If a RWD car on slicks is getting the same 60ft, and better than your 4 slicks…something is wrong there.
Yes, your logic. A RWD car will always have an advantage. The problem isn’t the traction/drivetrain but the car’s ability to make power. That Supra is just making much more power. There is power left on the table due to the piggyback but that’s much more than I think is there. That 2JZ is very impressive.
wow.
Not exactly. Even on an AWD car, physics isn’t work as well as people think in it’s favor. When you launch an AWD, all weight goes to the back, just like any car. Weight to the back = weight off the front end and front tires begin to spin. On a RWD car, all of the weight transfer is going to the wheels that make the power and have the insane traction.
Yep. Not to mention the added weight/DTL. AWD is a great idea for street and/or track with 11/12 second cars that don’t need DR/SLICKS. Near this power level, it’s a major disadvantage.
That and in terms of efficiency AWD is not the best by any means. They are typically heavier and have a higher loss of HP from the engine to the wheels. Not that this can’t be overcome as shown by Matt’s 8 sec. runs in the stealth, but it takes a little more work.
IMO AWD is amazing for the street but isn’t logical for high HP strip cars.
Echo?
Echooo
:wow i want!!!
Wow thats fuckin crazyy !!!
Inside cam is redic
Yea, my bad. Didn’t see your post.
so wait… fWD>AWD>RWD?
FWD>AWD>4WD>RWD ?
wait i got it… FWD sucks, AWD is good in the rain and snow, 4Wd is good for pick’em up trucks
RWD = WINNER

At it’s absolute sure but depending on the setup, one is better than another.
FWD just sucks so don’t even include it. :lol
