now i need ANOTHER new pair of boxers…thanks, Scott…
holy crap
there was no mention of pistons or rods…
539rwhp on stock internals… another reason for buying an SR i guess…
:eek2: :thumleft:
that’s Matt_Back’s buddy then i’m guessing (Matt_Back from the Ziptied boards). what’s Matt running in his car?
in the background of the last pic, you can see that teal green S13 with gold meshies that i’ve seen around quite a bit lately.
WoW I as well need a new pair of boxers…
What tires is he using to maintain grip with that amount of power?
did you see how fast the speedo went up???
One of the companies (Enjuku,Heavythrottle) or someone was making I believe 544rwhp or 534rwhp with stock internals on the bottom end.
Gotta love Sr’s!!
mmmmmmmmmmmmm
when i watched that video before i posted it i was like
MMMMMMMMMMM danger!
ahaha i love it.
How come when I try to watch this it says buffering and it is all choppy. Can I change this or is it just because I have a slow-assed comp?
right click on it and save it to your HD then it will run smooth
not for me, I just get an error … whether I download it or not …
And if we’re thinking about the same “stock internals” SR20 from Turbo magazine (or something of that same group)
Stock internals meant balanced, polished and shotpeened “stock” crank, super duty bearings (good to 1000hp) shot peened and cryo treated rods, and low like 7:1 pistons … not what I’d call a “stock bottom end”
:metallicblue:
Stock bottom ends are “free with motor” as far as I’m concerned lol
New bearings and Ballanced Crank I would still consider stock bottom end just rebuilt. As for the rods if those are changed then its not a stock bottom end in my books.
I just think it’s misleading … stock parts that get a ton of machining and attention are hardly within the tolerances which they left the factory with.
I don’t like reading that kind of stuff, because I know for every guy that understands it, there’s 10 that take that to mean their “stock” 100,000km SR20 bottom end will take over 500 hp. Then they cry when their bottom end goes pop at under 300.
Holy sh!t thats fast!!!
:naughty: :wackit:
