I drive a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000gt Vr4 twin turbo which is currently for sale… I am from west mifflin, PA…
The car has only 53,000 Original miles and was 100% stock when I purchased it…I have done a full BPU to this car putting it at 400+HP, crank Modifications include a ATR downpipe, Borla catback exhaust, Gutted Precats, Test pipe in place of main cat, Z06 Mas intake, Maft air/fuel controller, proboost MBC, greddy boost gauge and pod, greddy type S BOV, 450cc injectors, fuel pump hotwired, adjustable rear camber arms, crossdrilled/slotted brembo rotors, 99 sail panels, and Tein S Tech Lowering Springs… Wheels are 19" Konig theory with a opal “mother of pearl” color… They are wrapped in Falken 451’s “245/35/19” tires…
95-99 3000GT VR-4 is a mean ass car, but also heavy as fuck… and after that, deciding to get the spyder that is even heavier than the regular VR-4 :nono: function over fashion, u can have both but make sure u get the important one first.
friend of mine just sold a pimp, black NSX. u missed out on a hell of a deal
The spyder only weighs 300pnds more then a 2nd gen Vr4… Having a hardtop convertible 3000gt spyder, with some Dr650 turbos would be a compromise between style/performance… With the right mods, it will run 11’s easily… Also, I am not buying the car just to make it a track/street monster :mullet: … There will defanitly be a lot of “show” when I am done with it… 1st gen NSX’s run something like 13.8 from the factory and the comptech SC kit costs upwards of 8 grand…
I dont have enough $ to get a 95+ NSX with the targa which I really want… But I would be able to afford a 91-94 NSX without targa… So I might rule out the NSX untill I have enough to get the targa version… So it is probaly between the Lotus and the Spyder… I know the Espirits have their problems and are costly to own, but having a rwd V8 TwinTurbo would be sswweeeett
