We’re sayin the same thing Nick. It has very little to do with the quality of a current vehicle, and almost all to do with the rediculous reasons people buy cars: its cute, they heard its more reliable from the other fat office women they work with, they believe their hybrid is saving the world, whatever.
a 1994 ford escort applicance has nothing to do with a 2008 domestic vehicle, but people will still make their decisions based on it.
