Gas prices ridiculous and I’m fat, so I ordered one of these yesterday for my mountain bike:
http://largoscooters.com/go-hubkits.html
My commute to work is 3 or 6 miles depending which office I’m at. Should be fun, goin 20 mph without pedaling.
Should be here in two weeks
holy fuck…a few more 100’s and you could have bought my scoot
Is your scoot PA street legal?
I’ll be riding past the PA State Police barracks just off of 66 twice a day.
If it is, then it needs a plate and insurance. I didn’t want to bother with that.
wonder if you can wire in a 2nd battery and make it more powerful.
I was thinking the same thing. haha.
Charging up after it’s maiden voyage.
It’s a blast. :bigthumb:
Gonna need better brakes and a better kickstand (Those batteries are about 30 lbs total)
I think 36V is plenty but 72V is probably in my future :naughty:
It’s all wheel drive when I’m pedaling

My eight year old said it smells like the dragstrip :bigthumb:

Barry hit the speed of light and traveled to another warp zone last night.
MIA
They advertise:
Speed: 20+ mph
Range: Up to 30 miles
I rode it 5 miles on the bike trail and it didn’t slow down at all.
Put it on the charger when I got home and it tripped off in 20 minutes.
It seems pretty efficient.
If I pull out from driveway and head up the hill with out pedaling, it makes it, but it’s really slow. If I pedal just a little, it really picks up quick.
I find myself pedaling up the hills just to maintain cruising speed.
It is a little dangerous, I find myself going faster than I normally would, so braking and turning have been “spirited” at times.
I almost had to buy my neighbor a new mailbox!
