New wheels, stereo, battery in the evo

Its a shitty day, but it was enough to motivate me to install my lightweight battery (only 14 pounds) and the new stereo, as well as snap some shots of my wheels.

I will be putting the car away for the winter here in a few days or weeks, depending on the weather here. The car is quite different than it was back in July!

much better, time for some short route IC piping

Good stuff

Do they sell any that go under the intake filter and piping? I could always just make my own I suppose…

yes they do. buschur, AMS, ETS.

im sure emery could make one lol

Just found this:

I can just mimic that design and fab one up this winter. They even look better

Wow man you got that shit in quick  Glad everything went well.

BTW I have some hotchkis springs for really cheap if you need them

You def turned this car around

Much much better, total transformation man

Do you have an exhaust system on the car of any sort?
Plans for a tune, if you don’t already?

Car looks so much better!

I already have a 3" catless turbo back exhaust and an emery base tune. Its good enough for now.

Thanks for the props guys

I wouldn’t mind lowering it a little bit if it drove the same. I hate when you drop the car and then it rides like shit.

car looks good man

the hotchkis springs jeller has will ride pretty close to stock
you wont be able to tell much difference
and it will look way better

I can almost climb under my car to change my oil without jacking it up right now

Putting away for winter??? You are crazy lol.

i was able to too
if i parked on a little bit of a hill
i could slide under
then i bought coilovers
and the car super low
and now need a jack to change the oil
haha

I explained this on roclife earlier :spank:

The car is 100% rust free, so its nice and easy to work on. Plus, I have a 99 jeep to drive all winter, so thats more … forgiving in the snow. Deer, plows, bad drivers, no thanks

Looks great Mark, though I’m still very partial to the stock Enkei wheels they come with. Love those…

I really admire the work you’ve done to this car, considering it was previously such a piece of shit. It’s been totally rejuvenated under your ownership. Great job.

edit: I don’t know what your racing intentions are with this car, but I know a guy selling a set of custom valved ZZYZXs at a considerable discount- if you are interested.

I don’t have too may racing intentions for it, I need to save most of my money to pay for school.
