i bought it in june of '04 after my ex and i broke up. :stuck_out_tongue: it has 145,000 on the clock (barely broken in for one of these cars, they usually hit 300k no prob.)

the drivetrain is capable of handling close to 500 HP, but it is mighty expensive and time consuming to accomplish. it is probably going to be an after college project. i think i am going to use an MC code 5 cyl 10v turbo and use a megasquirt fueling setup. similar setups have been putting close to 400 hp at all four wheels. that would keep me happy for a while.

I always wanted a Vigor or 2.5TL so that I could say I have a 5 cylinder. We could start a board. We’d get a ton of traffic.

haha a ton of traffic from: late model volvo owners, old audi people, Vigor/2.5TL people, Chevy Colorado/GMC canyon owners and old mercedes benz Diesel people. oh and lets not forget the sprinter van enthusiasts…

i have a silly love for the sound of a 5 cyl. i find myself using those GM little trucks mentioned before as runners at work just so i can listen to that “wookie” growl.

nope. a 5 cyl turbo diesel made by mercedes. i have heard that they are capable of getting close to 30 MPG. i have driven a few and they aren’t too bad for a big van.

yes the parts came in the mail. i just have to go out to hectors and pick up the part. i have been so busy with this student teaching thing that i havent had much time to do anything with my cars. i ran the saab around the lot where i keep it the other day. i can’t wait to get it back on the road! i miss driving a swede :slight_smile:
