I registed a while back but kinda forgot about the site. Anywho, nothing too special here, no mad 1337 turbos or anything.
I’m from Rochester, now In Henrietta, and can be heard a mile away in my multifunctional all-in-one winter beater and DD, a 1990 240sx. Yeah, it’s loud, damn ricers. Great condition though, little rust spots I’ll get aroudn to welding as soon as the weather pans out.
During the summer you’ll see me safely whipping around in a 06 R1, put 7k miles on her just this summer, all while never pulling a wheelie or dumping the bike. Considering selling that to get a junk bike that I can bring back to the parking lots, while I build a chopper in the shop over the summer.
Currently the big thing on my plate is the restoration of a 1977 Datsun 280Z, started a thread in the DIY, but in a nutshell, it’s down to it’s unibody right now, the following month will consist of sheet metal replacement, frame rail replacement/extention, and prep work/reinforcment for a possible ls2 swap in 2008. (Even if I don’t go that route, the time spent to do the work now is invaluable to the time I’d have to spend tearing the car down again later)
POOPRA - You’ll get first ride while ugososlow watches and prentends he never gave a shat
WillyBean- I think I’m gonna trade it back in to the place I got the bike, I still have $6500 left on it so they’re still the title holder. Otherwise around $9ish is what I’ll be looking for, but I’m not sure if I want to play around with selling it while there’s still a lein. Ya know how that goes.
I was agreeing that it will be sweet when done. Just making the point that it looks like a huge project. Props to you for taking it on 'cuz it’s way more than I could handle. Lighten up, we have enough drama whores here.

Haha, don’t worry bud I’m just bustin your chops too * poke poke * It’s a big project, but when you stop looking at the big picture and work one one area at a time, you get around to getthing things done, and done right.
It helps to have all the tools in house too, welder, paint booth, sandblaster, etc etc etc, I don’t have to wait to send things out to get reconditioned or repaired, which is a big plus.
