Newman has been seriously one up'd

ha ha ha ha not trying to leg hump ha just think from his build thread his looks like it should be nicer than this one when it gets finnishd

Smokey donuts. lol

It will probably be slow and ugly when its done:carnut

I have 380mm rotors front and 355mm rotors rear, Brembo GT8 front, and Brembos from Porsche GT3 RS front, in the rear. Tilton pedal assembly

Also has an e39 m5 rear diff, custom mounting for that, custom control arms, etc.

BBS CH Black edition wheels, (Car used to have centerlocks), and slicks, (so no, not a drag car). Plans on taking it to Gatebil. Sick!

Twin 35R’s (so the author says) on a 5L V8 DOHC. Should flow nicely. lol.

And if you’ve never heard of Gatebil, here is a trailer from the big '06 meet:

that looks like its gonna be one nasty car

Loooove those wheels.

i cant wait to hear this thing.

meh

i like this

dear god.

 nice clean build

I’ll take mine with a v10 please.

From Piper Motorsport:

We started with a 1988 BMW M3. We built a custom chassis for the M3 body on a chassis jig using all new 2007 BMW E90 front/rear subframes and components including E90 differential and all the E90 suspension as well. To power the new chassis is a 2007 M5 V10 engine and trans. We built the chassis with the motor and trans positioned in the ideal location for the cars weight balance. The subframe and suspension components were assembled on the chassis jig to fit within the factory E30 M3 tub. The car will be equipped with E90 MOTON Club Sport suspension, E90 Brembo Gran Turismo brake kit (large) and MOTEC engine management.

Actually, I’d take the v8TT.

^^^ bad ass.

↑ God damn

ughh, i shoulda never sold my e30. Converting a BIG NA motor to turbo in a small chasis like this is definately not an easy task. Then to find an ems that will even be able to use the vanos correctly on this motor with the turbos will not be easy.

Im sorry, even though i love newmans build and his sweet ass, but this is so much cooler.

Nothing is that cool until it’s DONE…

+1

Kronenburg Management system or KMS. we sell it at the shop here.

Thats wicked cool, but does anyone know the weight of the motor vs say the weight of an LSx?

Perhaps being over in Europe this was cheaper.

S62 + TWO 35R’s?

Holy fawk.
