Looking to get back into shooting this winter. Anyone a member of the Niagara Gun Range? How do you like it?
$350 membership and only $6 a visit is pretty sweet if you use it.

Yea considering I pay 75 a year, for an indoor/outdoor range with 24 hour access to the indoor, and a 300 yard outdoor range, with no per visit fees, I’d say your getting taken.
I would never pay that much to be told that the .gov is here, you can’t come in, or have to deal with ass clowns that bought an AK and want to shoot at 25 feet. I am not a big fan of grumpy old men, but at least at the range I belong to, I know I won’t get shot in the head.
If your interested, its Niagara County Sportsmens Association.
What’s the deal with NCSA’s indoor range? I thought I saw they don’t allow any jacketed rounds?
Awesome. Thanks for the advice. I will check it out. I do like the 24 hour indoor range idea.
Also, if you do not have a pistol permit, can you take a class and rent one at a range or can you not even shoot one at a range if you don’t have a permit?
In NYS no permit means no shoot pistols, AT ALL. Its totall BS and my father always let us kids shoot, but its actually illegal. FUCK NYS.
The NCSA does not allow jacketed ammo, they are just hardened backstops. Most pistol calibers are are fine shooting unjacketed ammo, and most small rifles as well. Its a 25 foot range, its great for shooting small stuff or fundamentals.
Honestly I like the rule, I fucking hate someone shooting a .308 or a AK with a brake inside, its stupid loud, no ear muff combo will keep it to a decent level. Shooting .22 inside is very enjoyable. I built a .22ar just for it, and its the gun that gets shot the most. Its the moped of guns.
